FAQ's
Do you have medicare rebates?
No, you do not need a mental health care plan from your doctor to book an appointment with me. You can have more than 10 sessions a year when you see a counsellor or therapist. Medicare and private health care rebates are not available for counsellors or therapists in Australia.
Who should see a therapist?
If you have an official clinical diagnoses or are on medication then you should check with your primary health care professional. I can work in collaboration with them to get you the best care. I cannot diagnose or give prescriptions. As I am not a clinical psychologist I work exclusively with non-clinical issues.
Are you LGBTQIA+ friendly?
Yes, I identify as a lesbian cis woman.
Can I do online or in-person?
Yes! I offer both. Whether you're in Melbourne or need the flexibility of online sessions, we can find what works best for you.
How do I know this is actually helping
We'll regularly check in about what's working and what isn't. If something doesn't feel right, tell me - therapy works best when we're honest with each other about what you need.
